ARC has been the technology partner of choice to DPS for the past 20 years, providing everything from typewriters to storage area network solutions. In March of 2002, ARC was selected to manage computer procurement for all of the agency's desktop, laptop, and server needs. In June of 2004 the contract was renewed, allowing ARC the ability to provide and manage for the agency from multiple hardware manufacturers ( Dell, IBM, Gateway, Motion Computing, Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, and Okidata).

By facilitating competition amongst the manufacturers, DPS realized a savings of OVER ONE MILLION DOLLARS between 3/02 and 12/04.

ARC's performance with this contract resulted in an Exceptional Vendor Performance Report issued by the Texas Building and Procurement Commission:

"This contract has been in place since 4-1-02 and they always do a terrific job! Their deliveries are always on time if not before the promised date. They have gone down on their pricing and have been very quick to take care of any discrepancies. The staff is always helpful and courteous."
